Pr. Schlak presented a bag of 551 pennies. It was a gift from a homeless woman who walks the streets of San Diego gathering what others discard. She knew of the Tour de Revs mission and wanted to help feed the hungry also.
Pr. Twedt shared their revenue message - for every ELCA baptized member to give $5 a month which would raise a quarter of a billion dollars for the ELCA World Hunger Appeal.
Presiding Bishop Mark Hanson thanks the riders for their commitment.
